Ariel Soffer, MD, FACC

Ariel Soffer, MD, FACC, is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and is a Vein Specialist and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. At Soffer Health Institute, with offices in Hollywood, Deerfield Beach, and Weston, Florida, Dr. Soffer specializes in a variety of diagnostic testing and treatments for cardiovascular conditions and is leading the way in exemplary vein care. Even the renowned Dr. Mehmet Oz of “The Dr. Oz Show” recognized Dr. Soffer’s work in treating chronic cardiovascular diseases, calling him “the best cardiologist” during a television appearance.
For the last 10 years, Dr. Soffer has dedicated his time to treating venous circulation disorders and varicose veins. He even spends time creating awareness about circulatory issues among cardiologists, and he’s published two landmark articles on vein conditions in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Soffer heads a prestigious venous training program for cardiologists and surgeons and continues to lecture internationally on a variety of circulatory issues. His published book about mitral valve prolapse syndrome is currently available on Amazon.
Dr. Soffer graduated with distinction with a medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the prestigious program at the University of California at Los Angeles. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology and is one of only a few cardiologists in Florida to be licensed in nuclear cardiology.
One of the first cardiologists to become proficient in laser treatment for vein issues, Dr. Soffer also trains other cardiology specialists in laser ablation techniques. At Soffer Health Institute, he offers comprehensive care for poor leg circulation, spider and varicose veins, and restless legs syndrome. Dr. Soffer uses the latest diagnostic technologies and customized treatment plans to optimize vascular function and overall health.
Yael Myers, MD
Internist & Primary Care
Dr. Yael Myers is a Board Certified physician who specializes in Internal Medicine. She started her medical career as an undergraduate at prestigious Princeton University where she was a pre-medical student and graduated with honors in Psychology. She then attended medical school in Manhattan at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2001.
Dr. Myers has been practicing Internal Medicine in South Florida since completing her training at the University of Miami. She has divided her time between office practice, Hospitalist work and teaching medical students because she believes that the combination of all three realms makes the best, most well-rounded physician for her patients.
Dr. Myers is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at FIU Medical School where she teaches students during their clinical rotations at her office and on campus. She has served on the Peer Review Committee at North Shore Medical Center and has been a prior Vice Chairman at the Miami Jewish Federation’s Maimonides Society. She served on the Advisory Board of St. Catherine’s Rehabilitation Center/Catholic Health Services for many years. Dr. Myers was also a prior Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Nova Southeastern University’s Medical and DO Programs and at Barry University where she taught PA students. She has also appeared on South Florida’s local television stations discussing contemporary medical topics such as cardiovascular health, bone health, diet concepts and the affects of stress on longevity.
Dr. Yael Myers is a self-proclaimed people lover. She is thoroughly patient oriented and does not belong to a hospital corporation nor to a business center, thereby affording her patients with the most neutral ability to refer to whomever is the best match for their needs, should they need a specialist or procedure. She welcomes her long-standing and new patients to her practice in Hollywood or by tele-visit.
Furqan Tejani, MD

Furqan Tejani, MD, FACC, FSCCT, FSCAI, is a venous disease and weight loss specialist at Soffer Health Institute in Hialeah, Florida. Dr. Tejani offers comprehensive care for peripheral artery disease and chronic venous insufficiency.
Dr. Tejani completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. He then pursued his residency in internal medicine at the Long Island College Hospital, followed by advanced training in cardiovascular disease at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
After finishing his cardiology training, Dr. Tejani decided to settle in New York. For 10 years, he dedicated his life to training over a hundred fellows, participating in clinical trials, and contributing to several book chapters.
During his cardiology career, he was an editorial consultant to several peer reviewed journals and has appeared as a medical expert on multiple news outlets in the U.S.
Dr. Tejani is one of the earliest adapters of the multi-detector and electron-beam computed tomography (MDCT and EBCT). He currently has patents pending on interventional cardiology devices, including a new technique for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), which is used to replace the aortic valve without open heart surgery. His research has been recognized both nationally and internationally.
While helping patients at Soffer Health Institute, Dr. Tejani is also affiliated with Mount Sinai Medical Center, the State University of New York, and St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies.

I was born and raised in Mexico City being the youngest of 5 children. I did all my schooling including medical school over there and then I moved to Florida where I passed my medical board exams and got married.
We then moved to Harrisburg and Philadelphia where I did my Internal Medicine training.
When I was done we moved back to Miami to rejoin with the family where I have been practicing Internal Medicine/Primary care for the last 33 years. We now have 3 children and 3 grandchildren and plan to continue practicing.
