Sara L. Rivera, CCRC, CCRP
Sara L. Rivera, CCRC, CCRP, is the founder of Soffer Research, Ms. Rivera studied Business Management at the University of Phoenix. She also graduated with academic honors with an Associate’s degree from Kaplan University. Ms. Rivera has been the lead clinical research coordinator on over 30 clinical trials. She is a member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates and became a Certified Clinical Research Professional in November 2008. Ms. Rivera is also a member of the Association for Clinical Research Professionals and was certified as a Clinical Research Coordinator in March 2008 and recertified in 2010.
Diana Rivera, CRCA
Diana Rivera is a clinical research coordinator’s assistant with Soffer Research. Ms. Rivera previously worked as a regulatory administrator and has extensive research background. She is working towards her certification as a Clinical Research Professional.
Thomas M. Wade, MD, CPI
Thomas M. Wade, MD, CPI, obtained his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, completed his Internal Medicine residency in Chicago, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been a Principal Investigator for numerous research studies since 2004. He also practices Primary Care Internal Medicine with Holy Cross Medical Group. Dr. Wade is credentialed as a Certified Principal Investigator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy on Communication in Healthcare, the American College of Physician Executives and the American College of Physicians. He has extensive experience in Medical Informatics and acted as the Medical Director for Informatics with Clarian Health Partners in Indianapolis. In addition to his medical career, Dr. Wade is an accomplished pianist, enjoys tennis, biking, hiking and the theatre, and is a member of The Nature Conservancy and The National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Ariel D. Soffer, M.D., FACC
Ariel D. Soffer, M.D., FACC, is a Principal Investigator with Soffer Research, Dr. Soffer is the founder of Soffer Heart Institute located in Aventura, Florida. He has more than 13 years of experience as a board certified cardiologist and has been named one of the “Best Doctors in America.” Widely known for his interests in Mitral Valve Disease and Endovenous Laser Ablation, Dr. Soffer has authored books and several publications on both subjects. He also has a significant interest in cardiovascular prevention and served for four years as a National Hockey League (NHL) physician and cardiologist for the Florida Panthers. Dr. Soffer earned his medical degree at the University of Miami where he graduated with distinction. His residency path took him to UCLA/Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where the cardiovascular program is often named one of the top in the country. He also completed his medical administration training at Harvard Business School. Dr. Soffer brings several years of research experience as he joins the team of Soffer Research,
