People who are prone to developing spider veins are often looking for new ways to prevent them. Vitamin B

Vitamin B is another great vitamin to take when trying to combat spider veins due to its properties. Vitamin B can actually help strengthen the blood vessels, which in return helps prevent varicose veins. Vitamin B isn’t the easiest to take naturally as many people aren’t used to eating the good foods that contain them. Generally, vitamin B can be found in brown rice, barley, lentils, beans, bananas, turkey, tuna, and more.

Vitamin E

Taking vitamin E has also proven to be beneficial for people suffering from spider veins. This vitamin helps regulate blood circulation by stopping platelets from colliding against each other and getting stuck. Should someone be suffering from leg cramps due to clogged arteries, eating a diet that is rich with vitamin E is advised. Vitamin E can be found in a number of food groups, however, its content is particularly rich in broccoli, spinach, and kiwis.

Vitamin K

Unlike the other vitamins, vitamin K can be sold in a topical cream to patients suffering from spider or varicose veins. This cream is highly effective due to all the vitamin K that is in it. Vitamin K can strengthen capillaries once it has been applied onto the painful site. Should someone want to eat vitamin K, however, they could find it in parsley, broccoli, spinach, and Brussel sprouts.

While most doctors would recommend eating whole foods to receive the benefits of these vitamins, one can also buy supplements should it be easier for them to ingest.
